The Corrosive Challenge Blog....CHARMS

This weeks challenge at The Corrosive Challenge blog is to use CHARMS!!! I have a ton of charms and I love using them, I just often forget to use them!!!! This image is called Beach Umbrella & it is by Creations by Penny. What a great scene....makes me LONG for summer! Or a vacation by the beach would be good too!!!!!

I have coloured it with Copics and added Crystal Effects to teh birds and the umbrella to give them dimension, although it is hard to see!!! The sentiment is from a Gina K set I've had for a really long time!! I've had this sun charm for a VERY long time, I think it was one of the first charms I ever bought - at the Dollar Store mind you!!! Now I buy all my charms from Simon Says Stamp because they have such a GREAT selection!!!!

Thanks for hangin out with me!!!! Wishing you all gorgeous weather and sunny days!!!!

Creations by Penny - Spring collection

Penny has come out with a bunch of new digis, and they are PERFECT for Spring and Summer!!! Head HERE to check them all out!!!!

This image is perfect for a "guy" card! I used grey Liquid Applique for the smoke - it was an afterthought and I'm so glad it worked out, because the card was done, coloured, and put together when I thought "Oh, lets see if it works!!" LOL THANK GOODNESS it looks OK!!!!

This is a 2-5-7-10 box (got instructions at SCS) which is really easy - a few scores, a few cuts and voila, a really cute little treat box!!! The fruit brads I got a couple summers ago and have been "hoarding" for the perfect project...and I think this is it!!!!

I thought these flowers would make a great Sympathy card - and I'm always being asked to make them, so thought if I make and store some, they will be handy if need be (unfortunate, but it happens!!!) The swirls are a EK Success punch and the gems I got from Simon Says Stamp. The ribbon is from my stash, probably from Michael's! All images are coloured with Copics!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will head over to see what Penny has for you, you won't be disappointed!!!! AND VERY reasonably priced...so you can't go wrong in buying several!!!!! HAVE fun!!!!

Creations by Penny...

I have a few projects to show you using digital images from Creations by Penny. The first one is a bookmark using Strawberry Cupcake - isn't it yummy?? I coloured it with Copics, then added stickles to the icing and crystal effects to the strawberry! All papers are from my scrap bin (which is why I LOVE making bookmarks!!!!) The ribbons are from my scrap bin too!!!

Here is an Easter card using Bunny Under Tree image:
Again, coloured using Copics.
And finally the Mouse image....I added a party hat to him cuz he looked like he was ready to PARRRTAYYYYY!!!! LOL My DH thought he was Break dancing!!! LOL
Penny has some really great images, head over to her store to check them all out...and they are really reasonably priced!!! Head HERE to see them all!!!

Birthday Bear

Isn't this bear cute? And his sign is blank so you can add anything you want!!! AND, he is a digi so you can get him RIGHT NOW!!!!! He is Penny D's creation and you can find him HERE at Creations by Penny!!!

I coloured him with my koh-i-noor pencils and baby oil gel and just kinda went with a layout on a whim! I don't normally do that because they usually turn out horrific, but I kinda like this one!!! It is simple, but it showcases the bear well!!! The sentiment is from Stampin Up!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend!!!

Creations by Penny - Butterfly Flower

This is the second post for today....please scroll down to see the other post!!! THANKS!

Ooohhh boy, I had some fun with this image!! It is called Butterfly Flower from Creations by Penny! I printed out 2 images and made the butterfly POP off the card here:

I had this pack of glittery butterfly & flower paper that doesn't get used very often so I thought I would use it with this card. Since the paper was already glittery, I continued with the glitter on the flower and the butterfly! I mounted the image on Elegant Eggplant paper so it stood out on the busy paper. The card base is also Eggplant!

And, since it is BLINGY, I am entering this into the Practical Scrappers challenge this week!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a super week!!!! Head on over to Creations by Penny to see her other GREAT images!! Also, check out the blog for my DT sisters creations using Butterfly Flower!!

Creations by Penny - Gumball machine

(this is the 2nd post for today, please scroll down to see the other! Thanks!)

This gumball machine is a new release from Creations by Penny! Isn't it cute? You can do so much with this!!!

This first card I went with the "gumball" look, circle DP (SU), giant brads, and sparkley brads. I covered the glass of the machine with Crystal Effects to give it dimension, then added the sentiment (SU - Teeny Tiny Wishes). The ovals are cut with my Nestabilities.

I used the same DP pack (SU) for this second card, but the sentiment is from a Gina K set I've had for a long time!

Go have a peek at what the other DT members did... HERE !!!! You won't regret it!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a SUPER SWEET week!!!!! I have to go back to work tomorrow - booo hooooooo!!!!! Now the countdown until Easter holidays...LOL!!!

Creations by Penny - my first Design Team cards....

I made a couple cards on the weekend using some new images from CREATIONS BY PENNY, my newest Design Team venture! I was so excited to play I had a hard time deciding which ones to use first!!!!

I made this little 3x3 card for my DH - for part of his scavenger hunt to find his big gift!!!! I coloured with my koh-i-noor pencils & baby oil gel, then covered the whole heart with Crystal Effects. The DP on both these cards is Basic Grey (not sure which pad it came from......it was in my scrap bin! Euphoria maybe?!?!?!)

This card is for my BIL's birthday in Jan. Inside it says "catch all the fun you can".....he is an avid fisherman so I couldn't resist using this Whimsy Fish by Penny!!!! Isn't he cute??? He makes me giggle!!!! He is coloured with copics & covered with Crystal Ice Stickles! The card is actually white, but I put the pink paper behind it so you could see it......I normally photograph my cards with a white background! After I took this picture I added 3 green rhinestones after It's your day... cuz they got cut off with the word window punch!

Head to Penny's store HERE to check out all her great designs!!! And she has a lot of freebies too, so go check it out!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
