Good morning everyone! Well its still cold and snowy here (YES, it is SUPPOSED to be Spring!! URGHHH)  so I've had a lot of time to craft!  I have made a card for my niece using an image from Tickled Pink - CC Designs.  This is Lil Lolita Australian Kellita

Happy Canada Day!

I LOVE being Canadian & I'm so proud to be Canadian - and I'm so proud of our Canadian athletes!!! We kicked BUTT at the Winter Olympics this year!!! YAYYYY!!!!!

Sassy Studios New Release & Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to Sassy Studios NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP!!!  Greg, Jackie & I are the March Release team & we have a GREAT challenge for you!!!!  We want you to GO GREEN - i.e. Go ENVIRONMENTAL!!!  It'll be fun, I promise!!!!

 You must use this Tic Tac Toe board - either diagonally, down or across in your creation, which means you HAVE to use the REUSE square - so think of something you can reuse, recycle or repurpose!!!

Here is my project:  

I reused a pillow box that I got a gift in at Christmas from one of my students.

And here is the final project, using GET WELL SASSY - one of the new images!!!  Isn't she great???  

I filled the pillow box with kleenex, hand sanitizer, Neo Citran, some fancy "cold & flu" teas, throat lozenges Buckleys and some Head On!!  It all fit PERFECTLY inside the box!! Yayyyy!!!!!

And here it is, stuffed and closed - ready for gift giving!!!!

COG Shaped card....

 Ok, so the cogs aren't cut perfectly....it was a thought but not executed 100%... I promise I'll do better next time!!!! Tee hee!!!!  I am entering this card in the HOBBYCUTZ challenge  which is SHAPED CARDS!  I have used Steampunk Victoria for my card.

Sassy Studios - Anything Goes/Green

 Hey everyone!!!! This week, Sassy Studios is sponsoring CREATIVE FINGERS Challenge Blog - their theme is Anything Goes - Green or St. Patty's Day.  I don't have a lot of use for St. Patty's Day cards so I went the "green" route and made a Christmas card!  I have used SNOWMAN PIN UP from Sassy Studios.  The paper is from my scrap bin but I totally like how it fits with the sentiment going sideways and the ribbon and mistletoe berries in the corner!!!
