Simon Says ... YELLOW & GREEN!!!

Dreamy Tilda can be purchased in the Simon Says store - isn't she adorable? I paper pieced her little leggings to match the DP. Cardstock, DP & ribbon are all SU.


Here are the Changitos, Heidi's first love! I paper pieced the car here too...LOL...just for something different!!! I added Crystal Effects to the headlights, license plate and roof sign. I bought this stamp (& 4 others) and the sentiment from Simon Says store!!! CUTE eh???

Easter Wishes

On a Magnolia Yahoo group that I am in, I run a bunch of fun activities every month. This one is called a Mingle - where people sign up, I mix up their names and then they get a partner to send a card to. There is a theme each month and this month's was to make an Easter card using a NON-Easter Magnolia. I used Tilda on Promenade and the oak tree. I put a slit in her basket and added a couple of eggs. I also added the eggs around the bottom of the tree. The egg stamp is from TAC & I am not sure where the sentiment is from (SU maybe???). I coloured it all with copics, spica pens and stickles! The DP is from a stash I had from forever ago but it had cute little eggs on it!

Squigglefly has released a whole bunch of new images - you have GOT to check them out!!! And especially if you haven't used Digital Images before....they have a free download to try before you buy!!! How much easier can that get? AND seriously, I've said it before, it is SOOOOOOOOOO EASY!!!!!!! And within about 4 minutes you have your images ready to print, colour and use!!!

This first card is a new image called "Keep your neck covered" - cute hey? I used Blue Bayou and SU! DP (can't remember what series), my maple leaf punch and my Martha Stewart branch punch.

This is a cute image called Ice Cream. I'm not so crazy about this card now that I see it here, but thought I'd share it anyway. I used my Nesties die, and it made an odd shaped card (4.5 x 8).

Got cake?

I made this card for my niece's birthday - she loves pigs! All the pig cards on my blog are usually for her!!! LOL (Hi Carla!!!) I used my newest High Hopes stamps - a farmyard line - and sooo cute!!!! The cake, hat, pig and sentiment are all High Hopes and the present is from a Studio G set. The candle border is my BRAND NEW Fiskars punch - the one that locks and is practically flat - NICE!!!! Less bulky! I coloured it all with copics & my pink Spica pen for some sparkle!!

Tilda Bunny

This is probably one of the cutest Magnolia stamps I own - what a cute lil costume!!!! She is coloured with copics and layered on this CRAZY WILD dp that I've had FOREVER!!! I remember when I got it.....it was about 6 years ago, I bought this scrapbooking kit from an info-mercial when I was home sick .....6000 pieces for $40 or something like that! When it came I was in paper overload. There was paper, die cuts, frames, borders, tags, etc. etc. The frames were adhesive - very cool....wish I had more of those!!!! That was before I started making cards.....but there was SO much stuff in that box, it was unreal!!!! Anyone remember that info-mercial? LOL

Not me, but Tilda! I think her outfit is a "Sunday Best" outfit! I used an old sketch from the Magnolia-licious DT. The circles were cut with my Nesties and embossed with my Cuttlebug folders (script and D'vine swirls). The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set called Everyday Blessings. She is coloured with copics (is it pronounced CO-pick, or COP-ick??)
