Incy Wincy Challenge AND Love to Create Challenges - On Christmas Break

Good morning! 

In order for the Incy Wincy Design team and the Love to Create Design Team (both of which I am on!!!) to enjoy the Holiday Season with friends and family, we are taking a little break.  

There will be no challenges this week (Dec. 24) or next week (Dec.31).  

We will resume our challenges on January 7th with some AMAZING new sponsors and GREAT challenges!!!

Saturated Canary notebook - so pleased with how this turned out!

 I made this notebook for a friend at work - she was my Secret Santa & I saved this for the last day because I knew she'd know it was me!!!  I have used PACK LIGHT from Saturated Canary because it totally IS Lindsey!  She is fun and funky and loves to travel & this girl even looks like her! So, it was a perfect match!!!  I used some fun paper and coloured her with Copics, added a bit of sparkle to her clothes & purse, then tied a bunch of ribbons to make it fun!!  I even made her a matching pen!!! The little rhinestone letters are from Recollections. I used my ticket corner punch for the corners of the image, and my crop-o-dile to punch the holes in the notebook cover so the wire could go through!  I am so pleased with this notebook - I love the colours & I love love love the image!!!!!

I am entering this into Challenge 33 at Saturated Canary - it is a photo inspiration of blues - and I thought this fit in perfectly with that!!

Love to Create Challenge - Winter Fun

Not sure where I got this paper, but I thought it was very "non-Christmassy" but still looked very cool with this adorable penguin (who, actually looks like he's had a few too many egg nogs!!!)   I have coloured him with Copics and added some 3D white paint as snow under his skis.  The sentiment is from an old set I've had forever!!!!I also added some stickles to his hat.

I have used JJ -Christmas Cheers and have coloured her with Copics and added Crystal lacquer to the glass she is sitting in.  I love the effect it gives!!!  The CS is Hunter green and Riding Hood Red (SU) and the embossing folder is holly leaves - I believe it is from Tim Holtz (I borrowed it from a friend at our crafty weekend!!!)

Vintage? Shabby Chic? Grunge??

Not sure what to call these....but I made them in "Tim Holtz" style.......I hope you like them! They were really fun and MESSY!!! I used all of my friends things (except the manila tag & the ribbon/lace!) - the stamps and die cuts are all TH, I coloured the ribbon and lace with my TH Distress markers and inked and inked and layered and inked some more! LOL   When I was done, I spritzed them with this pearly stuff she had too!

This week we have TWO sponsors - Sassy Studio Designs and Beccy's Place.  I have used Chrismas Pig from Beccy's Place - I made this card for my niece as she is CRAZY about pigs!!! LOL

The CS is Green Galore and Pretty in pink (SU).   I have coloured him with Copics and added some stickles to the wreath for berries.  The sentiment is from an old  set, and the ribbon (SU) and rhinestones are from my stash (but are Hero Arts).  The border punch at the top is from Martha Stewart - got it for Christmas last year - thought it matched the blanket on the pig very well!!!!

I have used Christmas Bongo - isn't he cute? I have coloured him with Copics and added white 3D paint to his hat.  The CS is Real Red (SU) and the DP is from my stash.  I used the Martha Stewart snowflake punch, a snowflake charm and some ribbon and  rhinestones from my stash.  The sentiment is from a really old SU set!

The CS is Ruby Red (SU) and the DP is from a cheapy pack from Michaels I bought last Christmas!   I have coloured him with Copics and added a bit of crystal lacquer to his glass and some glitter to the bow & heart.  The sentiment is from an old CC Designs reindeer set, the holly are some die cuts I bought from Etsy last year and the ribbon is from my stash! I am going to give this one to my nephew who just turned 18 (drinking age in Alberta is 18!!)

I have used Mousey Mo and have coloured her with Copics.  I used a teal & yellow, although for some reason the colours look washed out! Weird! Must be the crappy weather!  The sentiment is from my good pal NETTY - thanks Annette!!! She makes amazing sentiments & they are all FREE!! Go check it out!!!

I ran the yellow through my snowflake cuttlebug folder, added some teal bakers twine that I have had FOREVER!!  .  I like these 2 colours together, will have to try this combo again!
