2 Cute Ink NEW RELEASE - Soccer Birdie

GOOD MORNING everyone!!!! I am here to showcase a NEW digi from 2 Cute Ink...this is SOCCER BIRDIE...isn't she cute???  I just love her!!!! 

The DP is digi paper from.....who knows where! LOL  I cut out some of the soccer balls and popped them out so they are 3D (although you can't see them because I didn't take a side profile pic...oops!) AND I popped out the soccer ball that she is kicking!  I wanted to add a little girlie touch so I used some pink rain drops and a pink bow in her hair....even though the stickles smudged (GRRR!)  Kind of a simple layout but I wanted to showcase the soccer paper!!  Would be a great card for a little girl who loves soccer!!!

Here is my Thursday news......

Officially this isn't happening until April 27th with the new release....but I am now a Design Team member for SASSY STUDIO DESIGNS!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! So excited! I've been a fan of Lindsay's images for several years now, and am thrilled to be on the team!!! 

So, this is my first card as DT.....hope you like it! 

I have made another side step card because, the challenge this week at DARE TO BE SASSY THURSDAYS is Fancy Folds!!! I have used Pink Ribbon Sassy for my card this week. I used hot pink & black - a colour combo I don't think I've ever used!!!  I LOVE IT!!!!!

ABC Christmas - H is for Holiday Helper

This week at  ABC Christmas Challenge  our letter is  
H for "Holiday Helpers"



Here is my Helper (the girl helping the little bird): 

I have used Winter Fairy from Wee Stamps - from Stamp and Create!  and coloured her with Copics. I added some stickles to her wings and her wand.   You can get this stamp at Stamp and Create - where our lovely Lacey has a SUPER AWESOME selection of stamps for sale!!!!

Cute Becca Boo

 Hi everyone! I hope you are having a GREAT Sunday!  We got blasted with another Spring storm, must be almost 2 feet of snow out there....ugh!!! I REALLY want to put away the snow shovel & boots....so tired of winter!!!!  I made this card HOPING it would stir on Spring...but no such luck! MAYBE now that I post it, Spring will come!!!!

This is Becca Boo, from The Stamping Chef.  I coloured her with Copics and used chalk for the grass & clouds.  The papers were just in my scraps bin and the flowers I've had forever!!!  This is a side step card - one of my favourite layouts right now!!!!

IT was a challenge for me, but I'm glad I tried it, it was fun & it has a really cool effect, especially for those funny shaped digis that if you left rectangular, you'd have a bunch of space!!!  I will definitely use this one again!!!!

2 Cute Ink Saturday Showcase

Ok, remember on Thursday I said I'd be bringing you a new 2 Cute Ink card every Thursday...well....guess what?? I've moved it to Saturdays!!!! SATURDAY SHOWCASE sounds so much better anyway right??? Besides, I have some good news to share with you all ... SOON!!! And that will take up my Thurs. blog post!!!

So, because I switched, I felt like I should do another card for today - my new day!!!! AND here it is:

I have used PENGUIN FLOATIE.....is he not THE cutest penguin ever??? SO adorable!!!! The papers are all from Echo Park Summer Days pack that I've had FOREVER!!! I just kept layering and layering and layering....phew...that's a lot of layers!!! TEN, not including the card base!!! LOL  I chalked the water and the clouds and the rest is Copics.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Anyway, PLEASE take a peek at 2Cute Ink and the adorable images that Heidi has up for sale...you won't be able to resist them!!!!  I know I can't!!!!!
